Please select from the following errors, if however the error you are getting doesn't
appear in the list please contact you printer manufacturer.

I don't have a volume control for my sound?
Im not sure how to increase the volume past that on the speaker control?
I get no sound at all!
One of the first things to check in this instance would be at the back of the main
computer tower, there are a series of sockets of which the speaker's plug will fit in to,
but only one will give you sound. Look for represented by a symbol of a small
speaker with circle type rings coming out (on some sound cards this may be
represented by the word spk). If your PC has an internal modem please ensure that
the speakers are not plugged in to this, otherwise you will not get sound (modems
normally only have 2 speaker sized inputs, 1 for a microphone the other for speakers
where as the sound card will have more).
If however you try/check this and are still not getting sound try re-installing the
software side of the soundcard, to do this simply un-install the sound from the device
manager (Click Start, then Settings and Control Panel then System) Look for the
heading in the list called Sound, Video & Game Controlers. Click the plus sign (+)
next to this and from this list highlight and remove anything relating to your sound
card. Re-start your computer and follow the Sound Card installation instructions
listed HERE.
I can hear CD AUDIO but not windows sounds!
In this instance the computer is probably using the wrong driver for you Midi, to
correct this problem simply follow these instructions:
Click Start, followed by Settings and Control Panel
Double left click on Multimedia
Left click once on the Midi tab across the top
Where it lists Single Instrument check that the one at the top mentions
Synthesizer in it, if it doesn't simply click the one that does and click apply and
ok
You will need to re-start the computer once done, which should have finished
the job
I get no sound in my games!
It is possible that the game may be either DOS based or Windows based, but require
Direct X drivers. The best thing to do in this case would be to get hold of a new set.
I don't have a volume control for my sound?
Click Start, Settings and Control Panel, then double left click Multimedia. In here
under the Audio tab you should notice a tick box for "Show Volume Control On Start
Bar" ensure that this is ticked.
I'm not sure how to increase the volume past that on the speaker
control?
In Windows look for a small icon of a yellow speaker on your start bar. Double left
click on this and you should now be faced with a set of volume sliders, before
altering this ensure that the words Play Control are accross the top. If you don't see
these words then click Options at the top of the page then Properties, tick the
playback option and click OK. You should now have a playback volume slider.
