Modem Installation

Please follow these instructions in order to install your modem.

PnP Modem Install.

• Once you have pysicaly installed the modem switch on the computer.

• You should get a dialog box come up just as you enter windows, this should
  say ''Windows has found new hardware'' at this stage it may install without
  asking for anything or it may ask for a driver disk from your manufacturer, ( if
  prompted please do so).

• Click ok

• Windows will now load any drivers needed, it may ask you to re-start (if
  prompted please do so).

• The modem should now be ready to use.
  
  
  Standard Internal Modem.
  
  

• Once you have pysicaly installed the modem switch on the computer.

• Once in Windows click Start.

• Next click settings.

• Then control panel.

• In the control panel select add new hardware.

• Allow the wizard to search.
  The wizard should find a COMM port. (if it doesn't please see the
  trouble-shooter)

• Once the COMM port has been found click ok to allow it to install.

• Once installed re-start your machine in order to make sure everythings ok.

• When you are back into Windows allow the wizard to search again, this time
  it should find the modem attached to the COMM port it just found.

• Next click OK, you may need to re-start the computer after this but then the
  modem should be installed.
